Amber Rahantoknam - THE ARTIST

AMBIGOU a.k.a Amber Rahantoknam (1996) is a multi-disciplinary artist from Rotterdam, the Netherlands. She works on the cross section of illustration, poetry and performance and specialises in live drawing, visual reports, mural painting and spoken word performance.

Her comic-esque style is recognised by fluid linework and bold & colourful characters. Amber's work centres themes such as activism, mental health, sexuality, diversity and the devine. Through her practice she wishes to celebrate human expression in al it's unique and beautiful forms.

She graduated from Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam with a BA in Illustration in 2022. Currently she works as a fulltime freelance artist while further exploring cross forms of her artistic expressions.
